I had the opportunity to cover one of the most intense lacrosse games I have ever witnessed Saturday evening when Syracuse took on UNC in the dome. It ended in an epic double overtime goal scored by Billy Ward, and stories on the game can be read at dailyorange.com!

It was already a disaster of a day for me, and as soon as I was unloading my gear on the sidelines, I realized that I had forgot my monopod. This made shooting with my rented D4 and 200-400mm f/4 extremely difficult, and thankfully one of the friendly photographers who was also covering the game blessed me with his car keys at half time, and I was able to run down to his car and grab an extra monopod that he had laying in the back seat.
