I got the assignment of producing some creative portraits w/ the google glass device for the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications website.

The practicality of Google Glass is interesting, and I don't think the demand for them is present yet. Especially considering how expensive they are. I could definitely see them becoming more trendy in the coming years w/ the growing culture of devices being hands-free, and it would be cool to see google glass used in the future w/ professional and collegiate athletics. Referees using them to get on the spot replays to aid in on field/court decision making would definitely save a lot of time, and in terms of a modern heads up display, the possibilities are endless.
